Our staff has conducted a wide range of environmental analysis and ecological services across the United States and internationally. Clients include state wildlife management agencies, community and county governments, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Forest Service, Department of Defense (i.e., Navy, Air Force, and Army), private forest and agricultural land owners, private hunting and fishing clubs, universities, and not-for-profit organizations.
FLIR has been used on a range of wildlife species including: sage grouse, sandhill cranes, turkeys, bird carcasses, polar bear maternal dens, brown bear, moose, white-tailed deer, mule deer, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep, and elk. Vegetation cover types include: sagebrush grasslands, desert, snow pack, deciduous forest, coniferous forests such as Douglas-fir and spruce fir forests. Surveys can be conducted during daylight or night hours and does not require snow as a background nor the coldest periods of the year.

Alaska Assisted with evaluation of the use of FLIR for detection of Polar Bear maternal dens, supported airborne wildlife surveys for large mammals. Tested the use of FLIR for moose and brown bear surveys. Conducted fire mapping and hot spot detection test survey.
Arkansas White-tailed deer and elk FLIR deer surveys.
Arizona Sonoran Pronghorn FLIR surveys; developed a interactive CD for natural and cultural resources education; Turkey and Elk FLIR surveys. Conducted FLIR surveys for Wild Horses and Burros.
California California bighorn sheep FLIR survey evaluation, wildlife evaluation for watershed assessment.
